Jazzablanca Festival’s 2025 edition took place over ten days in Casablanca, with standout performances from Nubya Garcia, Alfa Mist and Ezra Collective.

Jazzablanca Festival returned this year with a longer, more ambitious edition that stretched across ten days from 3-12 July. Two big weekends bookended four cosy, open-air “Village” days in-between – a structure that flowed effortlessly and felt like it had the whole city in festival mode.

Highlights included Seu Jorge, who kicked things off with a show over the first weekend, bringing warmth and charisma to a crowd that knew every word. Later in the festival, Ezra Collective tore through a high-energy set that made the Village stage feel like a jam session among friends, Alfa Mist drew the crowd in with an introspective, jazz-inflected performance, and Parcels’ signature polished funk and indie pop sparked a full-on dance party.

Beyond the music, the whole experience felt organised and well-curated, with stages that were easy to navigate, and a vibe that remained relaxed even when the energy peaked. This year’s edition made clear that Jazzablanca isn’t just about big names, but rather about creating a space where local and international sounds meet, and the crowd experience comes first.
